What happens when you reach a goal?

What happens when you reach a goal?

People often recognize it out loud, especially when it is physically tangible and that others can see.

Let's not forget to celebrate the wins that are also visible to others, but are made up of the incremental changes we make over time, with effort, care and persistence.

Do you also celebrate when you've learned a new skill that is less physically tangible, but equally important?

Some examples could be:

 - learning how to have really difficult conversations

- learning how to give feedback effectively

- learning how to adapt and connect your behavior to strengthen relationships with colleagues, friends and family

Celebrating these wins are important!! People notice when you acknowledge their growth. Take time to recognize these moments in yourself, and in others on your team and in your life.

Let them know you see their progress.
